Peer Review Process

Submissions to the journal are assessed by independent referees who make recommendations on the suitability of the articles for publication. We are committed to providing timely assessment of articles and authors are informed of the publication decision as soon as possible.

All Board members and referees who review a manuscript remain unknown to the authors. Every manuscript is treated by the Editors and referees as privileged information, and they are instructed to exclude themselves from review of any manuscript that might involve a conflict of interest or the appearance thereof.

Publication Frequency

The journal publishes articles on its website immediately on acceptance and follows a ‘continuous publication’ schedule. Articles are compiled for ‘print on demand’ semiannual issues.

Open Access Policy

In order to promote the dissemination of knowledge,  Journal of Design Processes (JDP) adheres to Open Access journals (DOAJ) and delivers all of its content to multiple repositories under this protocol, therefore the referral of a paper to be published in magazine presupposes the explicit acceptance by the author of this distribution method.
